What I've been up to...

Time to fill y'all in on what I've been up to lately:

• SCORPION CHILD:  I joined the rock band Scorpion Child from Austin, Texas early on in 2015. Since then, we've been very busy writing and recording the second album, and we've played a lot of shows, including a European tour with the bands Crobot and Buffalo Summer. The new album we recorded comes out Spring 2016, so look out for an Austin album-release show! We have another European tour lined up for March 2016, so the band and I won't be around for SXSW this year, but we'll be shredding:

• SOLO ALBUM TWO:  I've been writing and recording lately, and I've been uncovering a lot of new musical territory that'll be in the next album. Due to fresh song ideas and some equipment upgrades, it'll still be a bit before I finish recording and release the second album, but I have a lot of song and sound ideas. I'm super stoked on album two, because it definitely takes you to a new and different place than the debut album "Thief of Fire", and I'm still discovering all that this new album holds.
  

• SOLO SHOWS:  I'm focused on touring with Scorpion Child and writing the second solo album right now, but I'll be booking solo shows in between Scorpion Child tours, so look out for show dates soon. I can't wait to show y'all these new grooves!
