A.J. Vincent started playing piano when he was five years old, and he has since branched into all facets of writing and performing music.  A.J. started writing poetry early on, and soon after, his songwriting ability began to emerge.  At that time, his singing voice began to develop, and ever since, A.J. has been a devoted songwriter.
        A.J. plays solo around Austin to perform the music he writes on his own, and is constantly crafting his work.  Late 2007, A.J. joined the band The Bright Light Social Hour, whom he loves and plays with.  During SXSW 2011, The Bright Light Social Hour received a number of awards at the Austin Music Awards, including: Band of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.  A.J. was also named 2010-2011 Best Keyboards at the 2011 Austin Music Awards
